ATTITUDES TOWARD AUTHORITY

According to a global study of trust and reputation, 92% of Colombians deposit in the private sector their confidence to lead the transformation in the affairs of societies.

 The study found that the most reputable and trusted sectors of the economy are technology (86%), motor (77%) and food and beverages (76%), respectively. On the contrary, the sectors in which the population is least confident are energy (65%), financial services (65%) and the pharmaceutical industry (61%).

Nevertheless, he chart shows that the Colombians do not trust in their authority institutions at all. This chart shows that only 50% of Colombians trust in their armed forces, and 31% trust in the government. This is happening because of the corruption and the growing sense of insecurity felt by Colombians.
