Government regulation

These are specific regulation toward the different kind of industry, in this case is the manipulation of food.

7. SANITARY REQUIREMENTS FOR FOOD HANDLERS

​

7.1 All food handlers to perform their functions should receive basic training in food hygiene and other training in accordance with the periodicity established by the health authorities in the current legal regulations.

​

7.2 All food handlers should perform special medical examinations: sphincter smear with culture, nail KOH (to detect fungi), co-culture and skin examination before entering the gastronomic industry establishment and in accordance with current legal norms.

 

SECOND ARTICLE.- REQUIREMENTS FOR BEING A FOOD MANIPULATOR. To be food handler requires:

 

1. Certificate of training in health education for the proper handling of food issued by the Social Enterprises of the State or private trainer authorized by the health governing body or who do their time in the Capital District.

 

2. Medical examination with certificate on the conditions of the health condition of the food handler.

This regulations are necessary for every food market, not only ours, to assure the sanity and quality of the products.
