EUROPEAN ECONOMIC COMMUNITY (EEC) POLICIES

The European Economic Community (EEC) was an international organization created by one of the two Treaties of Rome on 25 March 1957 with the aim of creating a common European market. The treaty established a common external market and tariffs, a joint agricultural policy, common policies for the movement of labor and transport, and founded common institutions for economic development.

The EEC, of the 1957 Treaty of Rome, has been replaced by the European Union (EU) which includes aspects such as environmental protection, education, consumer protection, public health and communication systems, with special rules on Economic Union And Monetary and European Parliament.
