Shift to a service economy in Colombia.

The shift to a service economy in Colombia refers to the change in the economy of the country from basing it mostly in the manufacturing industry to base it in the services economy.
As shown in the table in the thirt trimester of 2016 while the mining and farming had a negative growth the industries of services had a positive growth especialy the Financial establishments, insurance, real estate and business services with 4,3% in the running year.

According to the ministry of industry and commerce the services sector owns the 57,3% of the PIB of Colombia and have a great potential of  growth, there are initiatives to improve the policies, and explore new opportunities and markets. 

This Shift it’s a good sign for the whole economy, because in one hand the services jobs are specialized jobs, hard to imitate. Also that’s the shift that most of the develop countries are moving to.
